Hi I'm Louise and I'm 19 years old. I'm originally from Taunton in Somerset, but now I live in Bristol where I'm in my second year of university. I'm studying a joint honours degree at the University of the West of England aka UWE!
I started off learning the recorder with my best friend when I was four! I got to Grade 3 with that, and decided to call it a day there as by that time I was learning the piano (definitley my favourite instrument alongside the acoustic guitar!) which was a lot more interesting! I've also learnt clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, sax and I used to play my bass clarinet in the Somerset County Youth Concert Band, uni seems to have put a slight block on that though.
I've been writing music since I was 8. Some pieces I've written were for school, and some were just experimenting and learning through writing. I've also written some about experiences I've had.
I like quite a lot of different music, mostly stuff in the charts, particularly the Ting Tings, The Verve and many others! My favourite artist is Katie Melua, I've seen her 3 times now and she's really good. I also like other stuff like Disney soundtracks!
As for the rest of me, I'm just an average 19 year old really. I like going out, spending time with my friends and boyfriend, I'm too addicted to the TV and I spend numerous hours choosing Facebook as the more appealing option over coursework! I enjoy netball too, even if I'm not the worlds best!
